Even the little ones got into the act with enthusiasm.
The Girl Scouts did a performance to demonstrate the victory of the Truong sisters over Chinese invaders in 39 AD.

The kids performed the VIetnamese songs they learned in the morning.
The kids enjoyed learning paper crafts.
The kids enjoyed listening to the older girls read Vietnamese folk tales.
Everyone got into the act of tug of war at the end of the day.
A big thank you to Anna Ly and Aimee Huynh and the leaders and members of Troop 2016.  We know how much work went into planning this heritage day for our children and families and we are most grateful.  It was a lot of fun!
